I am good with TTAL i just hope she chooses different type of lead single especially so people & ATRL are not like Oh So What, Raise Your Glass, & Blow Me are all the same
I want an album full of WDTBGs and Chaos and Pisses

Funhouse was awesome
I want the album to suit her as much as Ultraviolence suits Lana. A surprise would be great.

Funhouse is bittersweet overall that's why it's so great. It's a rollercoaster of emotions when you go through with it.

P!nk will never do Ultraviolence kind of album. And I'm happy with that.

I'm sorry, but even though TTAL is weak by her standards as a whole, it has some of her best work. Funhouse is a more cohesive album, but there aren't as many real standouts to her entire discography. I think AWAWA, TTAL, and Try are amongst her best work. Where as on Funhouse, it's just Sober and GITA. I understand where a lot of the hate for TTAL album comes from, but there is also something about it that I love, and that's the carefree, fun attitude she had on the album. If she could channel that with a little bit of introspective angst like on IND and Miss, she could really create a flawless album. I think the attitude and direction on TTAL was excellent, but the execution was a bit generic overall.

I honestly do not understand that... I can see the similarities in SW and RYG, but I still don't think Blow Me sounds like them at all. Lol. I would actually love it if she released some amazing mid-tempo/ballad as a single. Something with some punch though, like Diamonds or RITD. I would even like something upbeat that's more akin to TTAL and Good Old Days. Maybe not the best idea commercially, but I definitely don't want another Max Martin/Greg Kurstin style lead single.

This is what I feel. I don't mind if she does a happy album, I even want her to do again but don't ruin it with basic melodies and flawed productions. I just can't enjoy TTAL because it's not pleasing musically - although it has amazing lyrics. She could go on the TTAL/Good Old Days route and has an album with fresh and fun sound, those songs really stand out for me.
EDIT: haha I just saw you wrote about TTAL/GOD. They are so underrated and perfectly present her happy sound imo. Love them!

Haha. I love those 2 songs so much. 2 years after the album, they're still great! I can't say the same for most of the album though. Which is sad, cause her albums don't usually burn out on me this fast. I do respect and appreciate the fact that she did try some new things. I also love the more upbeat attitude as well. I think TTAL/GOD are just different for her sonically, but still true to her lyrically, that it's why they stick out on the album in a good way. Don't get me wrong, there's still some other bops on the album too, and I'm so glad she had a hit like JGMAR, but the album definitely seems off for her standards. That said, her standards are much higher than most. The album is still a SOLID album, so I do get annoyed when Pink fans call it ****. It's not a ****** album, it's just that she could've done better.
I have this feeling that she's working on some really amazing music right now though. She has been TOO quiet. She always gets like this when she's working on something amazing.

Funhouse is probably my favorite of hers, tied with I'm Not Dead.
I don't necessarily want an Ultraviolence from her (that's never going to happen imo), I "just" want her to release a timeless record which suits her like Lana. I was so hapy with UV, it's totally Lana. I want an album that's totally P!nk (ew, that sounds like an album full of rainbows and gay unicorns if you don't know P!nk ).

We pretty much feel the same about TTAL!
You know what, I have it as well. But I try to keep it down because I don't want to get disappointed again. I have my wishes and 'the' dream album of hers, but most probably it won't happen. Which is totally fine, I just feel like she's onto something which will be really special. It's in the air and I can't wait to witness it whenever it comes.
