It happens with every country artist who tries to branch out, especially the women (although ironically I didn't see Florida Georgia Line's blatant pop remixes get that criticized).
But the single and album are up for purchase and pre-order(respectively) for other countries.
UK is known for holding songs back a while to build sales and stuff. That's why WANEGBT peaked at 4 cause they released it when it had minimal airplay.
N/O but your overreacting. But you shouldn't force yourself to love it. There will be better songs on the album (just like with every album of hers)
As for becoming one of those random pop girls, I really can't imagine any other singer doing this song

I should wait for the album. But I'm kinda disappointed with SIO. I appreciated WANEGBT after 2 listens but with this, I dunno. I hope there will be better songs on the album.
