will Cheek to Cheek sell less than 150k first week?
Tony's Duets II opened with 179k in 2011. And we all know ARTPOP's #'s.
Given this seems like such a small release do you think this will open with less than 150k? Or do you think enough of Tony's fans and the little monsters will support it?
If the project gets good reviews and gains attention I think it'll open small and maybe sell well through the end of the year. What do ya'll think?
It will open with less, let's not be delusional. Tony had an album with SEVERAL HUGE musicians with large fan followings. The monsters are still large in size but let's be modest.
Haters are going yo say is a flop and will try to compare C2C with her previous work. C2C is not for the charts. It's about her voice and I hope it will be about awards.
It's a jazz album that isn't really getting much hype or promo.
