I'm mad I couldn't go . I actually wasn't expecting any extravagant production though. Em is very minimalistic and let's not act like we're used to Rihanna having the biggest production budgets either.

I honestly think they were going for the laid back, dark, gritty, subdued setting. It's called "The Monster Tour". I wasn't really expecting bright colors and feminine dancing.

I'm glad I'm a fan of both because I can really appreciate where they were going.

I kind of knew that it would be majority Stans. I mean Eminem coined the term for a minute. His fans go hard. The Navy does too, but there's a reason he pushes close to a 1M during his opening week whenever he releases. He has a very dedicated base.

I hate the fact that Rihanna was so butch. There was nothing girly about the choreography or her costumes. Where was the glamour that you'd expect from a Rihanna concert? There was no props. The stage was so bare it felt like a talent show or a festival set. Hackney and VFestival would have been FAR better tours than her performance at The Monster Tour and this is not coming from a bad place. I paid nearly $200 for my ticket and I felt cheated.

Overall I'll give the show a 6/10.

The only thing that annoys me about Rihanna is the fact that she relies on the audience way too much. It's so excessive it comes off as awkward and she does it at the best parts of the hooks and verses

Why is everyone scared so much of Rih's release? Are y'all new to being a navy or a Rih stan for wanting a more sales and higher peak? Who cares?! I mean I can't speek for everyone, but for me I couldn't care less. I just want new music and that is it. I don't care if the album flops harder than Maraih's or J.Lo's and that's not going to happen, but I'm just making an example! So stop talking about other artists and start focusing on Rihanna's career and music. I feel like I'm seeing myself in 2009-10 when I was so obsessed with charts and #1. Yeah it's a good thing, but there's a lot of things are more important than a successful album or single. Just enjoy with the music.

She doesn't really need props like Katy or Gaga... just more elaborate stages and visual. I think she should consider getting a hype men/band for her next tour. It worked very well for JT and Bruno concert. There was always someone in each corner of the stage hyping the crowd and even the dancers would do more than dance.. they would hype the crowd going around pointing and dancing randomly with the audience.

I don't have a problem with the looks but paired with the movement she does on stage... her body gets lost in her clothes and it seems like she isn't moving.

!!!! That has become a bad habit of hers. Songs like WFL or Umbrella are understandable for that crowd interaction. But when she's doing PIU, Rudeboy, etc there's honestly no reason why she can't do them in full.

During PIU it works well thi simply having the crowd going "Ohh ohh" abd during WN it worked during DWT cause of the speech but last night they went straight into WN and the crowd was like "bissvh wheet?"

It also worked last night during LYL where she would have sing like a word.

I was fine with R8 coming out in 2015 or even 2016, but the delay of HOME made things super confusing. I feel like she needs to release music soon. I have a bad feeling about waiting until HOME, so I'm somewhat glad she's releasing this year. At the same time, it will be extremely frustrating if she does the exact same routine despite the long-ass break. I don't want a twitter announcement, I don't want simple promo, I don't want a Black Friday release. I still think November 11 is her best option. I just hope that she doesn't disappoint us after all of this. The music needs to be great and the performances need to be improve.
