She only did that after the campaign had finished and she had several successful singles from the era.

Investing that much into an era that isn't going to have a single is a risk. And in some ways (the Pretty Hurts single release that you never shut up about), the risk didn't pay off.

It's because everyone's up Beyoncé's butt and it's just getting obnoxious. I enjoyed the album and her like 5 months ago, but it's just gotten ridiculous. I hope it comes out that she caused the divorce somehow so she'll stop being glorified so damn much.

True. But she has had two damn good tours in the timeframe and Drunk In Love became a memorable hit in the United States. The gimmick/innovation of it all keeps any unsuccessful parts of that era from getting too much attention.

She did not she had the album for over a year.

I'm not surprised. She gave everything upfront. And to be honest I don't think she cares, she sold 2 million, went on a successful tour and another successful tour and got another number 1 album. I think that's all she cares about.

This as well. Keeping an entire album with that many collaborators a secret is inherently risky. The Grown Woman video DID end up leaking a week or two before release.

I just said that I enjoyed it then. It was my second favorite album of last year. I still like the music.
