A Child Is Born

So here lands the second Rih's Christmas song. To be honest it's not much better than the former one. However it's a cute, calm dancehall song. It's interesting the song was officially released during the Loud era in October 2010 on the compilation album Now That's What I Call Christmas! 4 as the track 1. The song sounds like it was recorded much earlier - 2005-2006 area, and Def Jam just found it somewhere 4 years later and sent it to NOW.

Fun fact: A Child Is Born briefly charted on Mediabase - in the top 50 on AC panel, but a year after release - Christmas 2011. It was featured on Kworb's site as well.

I really think R8 aint happening this year now, I think because of the Monster tour, and the upcoming Home movie and CD that Roc Nation have probably pushed the project back.

If something was coming I'm sure Rihanna would've hinted something THIS month. All she put on twitter was R8 maybe she only started recording R8 a couple of months ago? and that maybe earlier in the year she was recording Home?. Because remember Rihanna only tweeted #R8 two months ago.

MAYBE:

1.Home - March 2015
2.R8 - November 2015

I really hope I'm wrong though, I really dont want her to wait any longer it's nearly been 2 years I don't know if I can wait another year

There were many hints sis. Pray 4 Me, Noella tweeting about R8 etc etc, Rihannadiva tea etc. R8 is deeply in works - MANY peoplle confirmed working on it.
I am pretty sure the news are coming soon.

I never watch the iheartradio set for the mere fact that has to be like the worst crowd ever. It's like Rihanna holding a concert for herself.
Such a shame the crowds in NJ were so lazy.
The lead single will drop this year. Not here for the Queen having a Christina Aguilera type of break and ending up a mess.

IHeartRadio was a MESS, her voice wasn't in the best condition, nor was her energy. And the crowd

And I agree I don't want her to take a LONG break, that barely works out for the best for any artist.

Also this year we have three big contenders releasing in the fall.
Adele - Thinking it will drop a couple of weeks before christmas
Taylor - Probably will release two singles before the album, and release the album in November.
Bruno - probably a late Nov/early Dec release.

My predictions:

Adele debuting between 1M-2M
Taylor - 700k-1M
Bruno - 500k-1M

Rih - 200k-300k if she does 300k I will be so happy. But I would be fine if she debuts around 200-250k.

So maybe it is wise if Rih releases after those

I wish someone took it down from the internet that video.
But I kinda think people expect from Rih a bit more effort on stage. And the production has been generally dull. People like KP spending millions on props and are having acclaimed reviews. Since DWT, it's basically Rihanna on stage with no major dance and the lack of props makes people judge based only on her energy and vocal performance. Loud and LGOET tours>>>>

Not really, there was multiple guys saying she was amazing just not willing to publicly dance and **** to her. I saw a few tweeting it amd talking among each other at the end. The crows was mostly guys and they just went off for Eminem cause it's acceptable and girls went off for both.
