The poorly-repressed SHINee ultra-stan within me has emerged to say that Minho started off kind of useless, but now he's hot, his rapping is, in certain songs, actually an asset, and he's as good a dancer as any of them sans Taemin. He can also hold his own on singing parts, ex. the end of Symptoms, the bridge of Girls x3, Everybody's pre-chorus, and assorted other songs. He hasn't been a Kris for a while.

Chanyeol can sing. He's not main vocalist material or anything, but his singing voice is so...pleasant? Idk I like it more than majority of EXO's vocalists sans Kyungsoo and maybe Baekhyun
Onew should go solo or something. It'd be the first SHINee related thing I've bought since like 2010. It's so annoying to see his talent wasted in SHINee while SM is too busy trying to shove Taemin everywhere
I'll admit before his debut I never thought of Taemin as a logical choice for a solo debut, but I wouldn't really see Onew as a logical choice either. I feel like there's much more versatility in what SM can do with the artist in someone like Taemin, and even Jonghyun, who should have had a solo by now.

Minho is key to SHINee and I'm glad recently they've been doing more with him. And in terms of dancing, one of SHINee's charms is, other than Taemin, there's not an obvious lack of dancing or performance skills in only one member. No one sticks out like a sore thumb. And I don't know where the Kris comparisons from honestly. It's not like Minho is a douche and he's never been held high enough in SHINee to be at the level Kris was.

Of course he's nowhere near Kris, but I'm not about to sit here and laud his talents.
But like, I'm not starting something, but I don't understand how in a male group like SHINee, someone like Minho is so penalised for a "lacking of talent" but jump to SNSD and Hyoyeon and Sooyoung are two of the most universally liked members. I'm not dragging them, since I love them too, but you know where I'm coming from.
If Minho looked like Jonghyun, it'd be a different story with him.
N it's true though. Minho is always super cute in SHINee videos and he's always at the bottom of the SHINee chain, which was never the case for Kris. People can go in on Minho if they want, but comparing him to Kris is like... no.
