Whilst I wasn't entirely convinced from the beginning that it was a full exclusive just based on the phrase they used to announce it, I'm happy to hear that it's only timed. I don't care about waiting because my hype has died down significantly for it after this anyway.

Um you're just being a nuisance. Claiming the whole dilemma doesn't matter because TR fans with a PS4 can just play Uncharted instead and now you're telling people to seek help for expressing an opinion in a mildly upset tone.
Thank you for all of the feedback and questions. There has been a lot of coverage about Rise of the Tomb Raider, and a new round of articles followed Phil Spencer’s Eurogamer interview in which he confirmed that the exclusivity is timed.

Phil Spencer confirmed via Twitter today that "Rise of the Tomb Raider" will in fact be co-published by Microsoft. In addition, he confirmed in a recent interview that Microsoft is funding all marketing and partially funding development of the actual game.
