Oh there's definitely misogyny there. Homophobia and misogyny tend to go hand in hand. Most homophobia is rooted in misogyny. "A gay man isn't a real man because he has a quality that's attributed to women, therefore he's weak and/or *fill in the blank*..."
The way he just refuses to accept there are people in the world who don't conform to society's heteronormative gender roles how much it bothers him that some people are not cis gendered and don't fit the stereotype of what a man should look like and act like
