How are masculine gay men supposed to be more visible, though?

People need to realize there are masculine and feminine gays. There are plenty of masculine men who aren't afraid of who they are and don't need to be feminine to say "Hey, I'm not scared. I'm a gay man!" and there are feminine gays who should be free to be and act the way want. There's not one way a gay man should be.

I'm not saying they don't exist. I date and am friends with them, and most people IRL perceive me as a fairly "masculine" person. I'm saying that historically, men who can pass as "masc/str8" tend to stay in the closet more than people who don't have an option.
