No one bought Tha Carter IV because of singles though. If he's promoted enough he'll do over 500k. Nostalgia is so powerful and the "rap internet" will go to bat for him.
lol, they helped A LOT. Tha Carter IV had four hits before the album dropped (three of them were multi-platinum before the album release week.) Believe Me still isn't gold and everything else has tanked.
I know like 10 people at least that have gone to see Beyonce live in concert
But yeah the Drunk in Love video is crap.
As I said before, people go to Bye's shows bc they're EVENTS. I would totally go to see Madonna or even Bye. Not for them - for the whole spectacle. They invest MILLIONS in those tours therefore people wanna see something amazing visually and technologically.
