Country fans are still going to buy a Taylor Swift record because they know that they're going to get an overall quality album with some amazing country tracks on there. But new fans of Taylor's pop sound who like the singles will also buy the album. This dual genre force is what's going to help her stay ahead of the rest of the pack in terms of album sales because she can dominate in multiple areas of music. As album sales are declining, it's something out of both interest and evolution on Taylor's part, and necessity in order to keep on selling those albums. It's a very smart career decision to go down a more pop direction.

Her country fans know there are always perfectly written country songs on her albums, even if the lead single is pure pop. Nothing to worry about.
No way. She has the most phenomenal stronghold over the American female market, which is huge. She's seen as the ultimate best friend. American girls in their teens and 20s love her, whereas American gays in their teens and 20s love Gaga.
The straight female market is way bigger than the gay male market.

I haven't seen this bragging, and, anyway, no. In order for an artist to have an ARTPOP era, they need to completely alienate the GP, which is something Taylor hasn't done yet.
Taylor's fans are also bragging about how she will open with 1 million copies but considering she's going for a more pop direction, she will effectively be alienating her loyal country demographic. Will this be her ARTPOP?

There are numerous people on this site expecting such for Taylor's 5th album.
The situation is entirely different.
Taylor's currently way more liked by the GP, she's a better songwriter and she's working with producers who have much better track records and are more acclaimed than DJ White Shadow.
