Agreed. If I was walking around in Asian cities with symbols on me I'd want to know what they meant and what language they were from. Maybe she bought it there and just figured it was Japanese? Are Korean symbols ever commonplace in Japan? I imagine there's some Koreans who live there.

I'm not sure what to think. Since the launch of her career she's been visiting Japan and has cited Japanese fashion designers as inspiration. She also made a book of photography when in Japan. I'm sure she's studied some things (fashion/economy/culture/music) but I know she's not ignorant. Just made a minor mistake...which could come off as ignorant. Yeah :/
