But y'all are excited to see what the iPhone 6 will bring. Y'all will be perched for the announcement. It's OK, you are not alone.
Maybe if you say it often enough it will become true?
Though.... Apple stans have been saying that it has better hardware for years than Samsung/HTC.... and it still isn't true. So I don't like your chances.
Let people use whatever phone they want and stop arguing what's better. Literally no one cares.
Not you (and the other try hards) acting like ATRL is the mature hub for all the happenings of the world. You can find worse things being argued about on this site. This exact conversation is going on in the comments of CNET and WSJ articles. Stop. If you don't want to be involved in the conversation.

I own an Samsung Galaxy phone and an iPhone so I know first hand it's true. Throwing more specs in does not better hardware make.

Exactly. Unlike some, we don't blindly Stan for a BRAND, but for quality. If Apple delivers, a lot of us won't mind jumping ship, but unfortunately the Note 4 is getting announced in September too. Rumor has it that it will have a quad HD display.
why would we get excited for seeing something we've had for years?
Well I for one am happy for Apple stans that their phone is finally exiting the dark ages technology wise. So I am excited that they finally get to experience the modern world.
I imagine the feeling is similar to the feeling that people digging wells in 3rd world countries get when those poor people finally get running water.
and yet they followed the trend started by the "inferior" android
they hated the idea untill seeing it working for others
Wasn't Apple the one who changed the phone game in their prime? Thank God they were here to pave the way for the other ones. You can clutch the bigger screen idea, I guess.

Did you even READ what I wrote? Steve Jobs hated the larger idea of the phones. The rest of the company saw the positives in it, and knew there was a customer base who wanted a large phone. That is why they waited until he died, so he couldn't complain or stop it the increase from happening.
Android users. Thinking the size of a screen is something to look to others for. A mess....

I can NOT wait for them to come and brag about their HD display while we can't even see a single pixel on our quad

sure they did, that's probably why they dropped the lawsuit against Samsung after getting exposed for copying Sony
edit: wait I lied, they didn't drop the lawsuit, the accusations related to smartphones shapes were dropped indeed, thus not invalidating my point
