It's funny how you guys doubt Nicki. So far Rick Ross has the biggest selling rap album of the year with only urban support and without a hit there either. Nicki is everywhere on urban right now, Pills N Potions is currently top 10 on urban too. Plus Bang Bang and Anaconda will be pop hits and that will help a lot
Wait at his latest tweet: ''Someone could end up breaking a UK sales record this year if the sales estimates are correct coming from Sony!!! 400K+'' ADELE?
@Duca JT is a mess for not coming to Brazil because he was a GOD after the Rock In Rio performance. Everyone was talking about him, he would smash hard, he could pull a Male Beyoncé here. I'm livid
Cheek to Cheek won't do too horribly. Tony's last album charted at #5 and with Gaga behind it that guarantees a bit more than his usual sales and i'm sure GP would be more here for Gaga doing vocal jazz than her ARTPOP business.
Nicki could go either way really. She hasn't had a HUGE hit so far this era like her last 2 albums had. Even then, PF:RR barely passed Platinum. I think unless Anaconda catches on (which it probably will because the novelty of it + VMAs) her first week sales could be a mess and the album won't perform well. But i'll be a little more optimistic because she has the urban community more behind her this time and they have a tendency to buy albums.
Since then, he's had to contend with fan outrage over that comment and says we took his quote out of context. (We disagree.) So let's clear this up now: What has been changed from page to screen? "Everything and nothing," he says. That's, um ... not helpful. Care to elaborate? "You're not changing the marrow of the creature," he says. "You're just changing the bone structure and the muscles and the skin." Pause. "And the hair." He laughs. "It's all of its outer sheathing. But at its core, it's exactly what I think Gillian always intended."
