Out of Beyonce's 47 Singles, only 15 reached the Top 10, with 2 being features. So about 31%. Not even counting her #1 songs, which equal to 5. That's a success rate of about 10.6%.
Compare that to Rihanna's Top 10's, 25/53 (47%) and her #1's, 13/53 (24.5%)

Well considering that out of her multiple/7 released albums the ONLY one to go #1 was the ONE album that featured Chris. It's only a logical hypothesis to think that the controversial collaboration is what pushed it to the feat, and shall remain so until proven otherwise.
