Do you think Rihanna anticipated 8th album will debut at #1?
I'm asking because out of her 7 albums, only one of them topped the BB200. That's a success rate of 14.3%.

Of course. Her first 6 times were just bad luck. She's debut @ number 1 each time as long as she's somewhat relevant

I think this will be Rihanna's largest debut due to the break. But I still wouldnt be surprised if she doesnt hit #1 due to the other large releases this quarter.

She might get it but it will depend on a very deep analysis on the best release week possible to avoid clashing with 1st and 2nd week sales of a lot of other artists releasing in Q4 as well (Taylor, Adele, 1D, etc)
