I honestly don't think this will be the case. Regardless of what it sounds like chances are the album will have different sounds on it.
Think of Red. WANEGBT was bubblegum pop and yet the album itself had some of her best songs ever on it that spanned multiple genres (SOG, Treacherous, Holy Ground, Begin again etc). I don't think the entire album will be pop but I do think it'll be more pop than Red. Maybe like 60% poppy stuff.
