I'm sorry. Is that not EXACTLY what Rihanna did when she debuted to Beyoncé? Her label used the Beyonce comparisons as a stepping stone to get her where she is today. They even ADMITTED to planting fake stories in the media about her and Jay to get her name out there (which is why she is known as the hoe she is).
Rita has never dressed like Rihanna, it was always the opposite, just like Rihanna copied Beyonce and Cassie and Aaliyah and Kelis and etc...
Let's not talk producers because Rihanna followed every Beyonce producer for her first 4 albums before she went to Europe to find new sounds.
