But really Ciara was on her way before the warbling goat surpassed her. Beyonce's lucky Rihanna became her competition instead of Ciara because if that was the case she would have actual competition to best female performer title. Ciara would out-Michael Jackson her anyday.
It was also still one of the best selling albums and a near 9 million decline in sales is a bigger decline than the one Britney had between BOMT and Circus so...
What?
10.6 million (BOMT) / 1.7 million (Circus) = 8.9 mil decline.
10.0 million (Confessions) / 1.3 million (Here I Stand) = 8.7 mil decline.
& you're putting Britney's debut era against her 6th era.
If we put Usher's debut era (500k) against his 6th era Raymond v Raymond (1.3 million) he wins still. Poor Brittany.
YES! I was kind of afraid they'd end it there and tried to tell myself it wouldn't be that bad but thank god they added the epilogue which ended up being so essential for this entire experience & depiction
The perfect use of Family of the Year's 'Hero', though Or the use of the entire soundtrack tbh
All those Britney albums came ages before ARTPOP when sales in general were higher. Blackout selling a little over 2 million in 2007 is infinitely more tragic than ARTPOP's numbers in 2013-2014.
You should compare 2011 albums to 2011 albums and 2013 albums to 2013 albums. ie The Fame with Circus, Born This Way vs Femme Fatale and Britney Jean vs ARTPOP. At least the market is absolutely the same in both comparisons. When they release albums in the same market, Gaga outsells Britney by 4-5 times
I wasn't comparing Gaga to Britney, I was just saying that Britney's decline wasn't as fast and harsh like Gaga's. Are you telling me In The Zone sales (for 2003 standards) are as bad as ARTPOP?
Everybody has an addiction; mine happens to be you
And those who say they don't
Souls will later on say to them "that ain't true"
All of them will have an opinion
But y'all know what y'all can do with them
But if you unsure, I'll take you on tour
To a place you can stick that in
Well, sitting here sad as hell
Listening to Adele, I feel you baby
Someone like you, more like someone unlike you
Or something that's familiar maybe
And I can tell that she wants a baby
And I can yell, girl, that you're crazy
Oh what the hell? Nope, can't be lazy
Please be careful: bitches got the rabies
