It seems obvious to give it to Ariana or Sam but they might try to look authentic and genuine by giving it to an unknown person like they did in 2010 when Drake and Justin Bieber were nominated

The corrupted and brainwashed industry will give AOTY to BEYONCE. It will be the worst winner of all time. Thank god at least people said no to that album.

Is Lana even elligible? These rules are so confusing.

The official guidelines are as follows: "For a new artist who releases, during the Eligibility Year, the first recording which establishes the public identity of that artist." Note that this is not necessarily the first album released by an artist.
In 2010, Lady Gaga's exclusion from the Best New Artist category has caused the Recording Academy to change eligibility requirements for the next ceremony. She was ineligible for the nomination because her hit "Just Dance" had been nominated in 2009. The new rule states that an artist can be nominated as long as the artist hasn't released an entire album and doesn't win.
Is it just me or gets Banks' voice more confident and stronger with each song she releases? She settled with a coy and vulnerable personality for her songs on the London EP but Brain & BFT feel so much more emancipated and somehow detached from any rules. Like she doesn't give a ****. What a woman.

I'd only say no because it's lost a ton of momentum for it. It really faded away early February tbh.
