I really feel like this is all just some deep in-bred jealous because she actually cares about the people that support her. None of the others have EVER cared as much as openly as she does.
It's not a facade I believe her so much more after seeing her.
I could never get through it. And I tried so many times because I wanted to like it.
Maybe I am just nostalgic. But it's one of the very few films I grew up with watching with the rest of my cousins (that and The Goonies) so it always will have some kind of sentimental pull in my heart. I've always found Robin Williams so charming in the lead role though.. love Spielberg's standard schmaltz that creeps its way in. Dustin Hoffman is great too.

Most of these girls want money and are used to make money. It's pop music for a reason. That's why most record labels want them to cater to the GP, not the stanbase.

No one truly claims that Gaga did it first but she is the most prevalent person in a very, very long time.
