I don't get how people don't see how making an era/album about the freaks, the outcasts, the gays and making those terms synonymous/interchangeable is so socially irresponsible on her part. That's the opposite of empowering. That's actually depressing/reverse empowerment. I believe she meant well if that's any consolation.
