Not trash by any means. It all depends on where you look. If you're looking @ the "pop girls/mainstream" then yeah i guess you could say the quality has been lacking. But its dependent on the theme the Committee go far.
You have Ed Sheeran, The Black Keys, Sky, Blood Orange. If they want to go REAL alternative, their is BANKS, FKA etc. Its possible it will be nominated but i heavily doubt it will be an automatic winner.
