Last night I dreamed about LL becoming a single: it peaked at #26 on the Hot 100 after several performances, remixes and discounts.
The reaction on ATRL was hilarious: all the LL stans were asking for WOA to be released immediately.
Sometimes I actually think about LL getting the single treatment. I think it could either smash like DH, or flop like Thinking of You. On the other hand, I see WOA being a moderate success -- I'm not sure if it will appeal to the majority of the GP. If it were released, though, it would probably rack up the Best Dance Recording Grammy due to its retro sound. Ghost, almost certainly, would be a radio hit and Double Rainbow would probably do well.
There are those members who hope that CYB will be a single. It's not going to happen, obviously and quite unfortunately, because it could give Katy some more musical credibility, even if it flopped. It Takes Two, nonetheless, should be released because it would smash. Even more if Bruno Mars featured on it. But that's just a wish...
