I'd let my son wear goth clothing, and I'd let him date a boy if he was gay. If any of those situations put him in a situation that made his school experience so bad that he couldn't even bear to go to school, I'd just put him in home school. However, it's pretty obvious that a boy wearing a dress, at least in the times we live in now, will be near universally unaccepted and would result in bullying. That type of thing just has less tolerance than the other examples.
