Honestly they're never going to be big solo as they were as a group (which wasn't THAT big to begin with)
Aubrey- Smart girl and I love her but she has to know outside of DK, people don't take her seriously because of the way she presents herself. She should all know that appearance is everything.
Wanita- She can shade all she wants for lowkey being right about the messiness of this reunion, but she won't even be as big as her sister who's an unknown on the popular Young Money. That's a true kii in of itself. Her friend mrL(ackey)Davis can try to be her hypeman all she wants but people more people would be here for Paris Hilton to do an album before wanting hers.
Shannon- Poor girl. The sweetheart. I love her to death and she got ****ed over twice. She needs to just take a break from this all and start a family. She'll be a good parent where she can give unconditional love and get it back instead of being leeched and drained of her energy.
Aundrea- She was never made for the industry. She's the little girl who dreams of being a star but has no idea of the business behind it and is so naive. She's so passive aggressive. She has every right to be tired of Aubrey and her sometimes shenanigans but Lil Muff is the real queen of Passive Aggresiva. She wants to throw her chanclas at everyone and appear innocent and likable but I see you Lil Muff. There's a reason most muffins are sold in packs. They can't stand alone. She'll always be the second best vocalist in the group I will give her that but she's always flaky. She was the first one who explicitly said she wanted out in 2008. I'll always love her but she just annoys me just as much as I love her and her voice.
Dawn- I'll appreciate Dawn for her talent. She's a beast with the pen. Her voice is more versatile than Drea's making her the best vocalist. I blame her for the first breakup and that will never change. But I have warmed up to her a lot since her solo work. Idk I want to say stuff about her but I don't know about this time around. She for sure should not have laid hands on Aubrey but where she is at in her personal life, those things affect you and get to you. Makes you act and do things you may not normally do.
That being said these girls literally had it all and could have done something but they just show how catty women can be and can't work together. They can use the excuse that they were brought together and made and didn't come together naturally but they knew what the **** they were getting themselves into when coming onto Making the Band. They knew they signed up to be a group. That's not to say you have to put your voices and opinions on the back burner but you need to know the time and place. Timing is everything. You might think what you say is right and while it might be true, timing and how you come across is every thing. These girls should not have rushed to come together. If this was for the fans the behind the scenes stuff should have been put together before announcing. You want fans to be happy about a reunion, then have the album, concepts, etc. down before you announce. Everything about this has been messy from the jump. Don't tell me you're reuniting without one member (even though she irks me) and then lose another member and continue on. I loved DK3 but when you tell me there's red flags that you chose to ignore, you didn't do this for the fans. You know your history but yet you continued on. Don't expect me to feel bad and accept it as an apology. If you saw red flags you should have said, you know what, we should take a break because I'm not feeling it. And had this process HAPPENED before coming out to fans, fans emotions and money could have been saved. We know you all did this for a check. Don't act like that wasn't part of the reason.
They always want to act like this though. They want to say they're unfiltered but the truth is they're filtered and photoshopped to the one hundreth degree. For being women in their 30s they still sure have a lot of growing up to do.
I'll always have love for this group but they can never keep it "real" as much as they say.
