There is nothing ridiculous about making music for the next sixty years, people like Tiffany and Belinda Carlisle still make music and they literally haven't had hits since the 80s, well Belinda had 1 in early 90s I think. Once you go big like Gaga you will always be able to find somebody wanting to work with you or give you a record deal no matter how bad it goes later. Making SUCCESSFUL music on the other hand, well...
