Well, you got me there Elusive Chanteuse. It was heading into a direction that is better than Wall-E. The issue was those talking dogs and the villain being over 150 years old that bothered me and took me quite out of the movie. I will compromise and say the first ten movies are Pixar's finest moment.
No shade to Tony (he has his impact) but he was always kinda a lesser rate of the original crooners and, as such, never really had his own songs to stand up to. I would love for Gaga to commission Randy Newman to write new jazz standards for the duo to sing together on their upcoming album.
