"X-Men: Days of Future Past" is not a hit because of Jennifer Lawrence. It's because Michael Fassbender (and James McAvoy, to a lesser extent) literally saved the entire franchise with "X-Men: First Class." Jennifer Lawrence has no impact whatsoever as Mystique. Her performance is empty and uninteresting as Mystique, unlike Rebecca Romijn's performance.
