Sparks Fly sold lower than Mine, BTD and Mean because it was released as the fifth single. Even though, it still managed to sell considerable amount of copies. Besides, Sparks Fly was too pop to be released as a country single but still managed to reach the top spot.
Mean is a country gem and it was released on proper format with perfect timing while Sparks Fly..
