Sis, Mean was a much bigger hit than Sparks Fly despite peaking at number 2. It had to compete against the monstrous airplay of Honey Bee causing it to miss the top spot. Let's not forget about how Sparks Fly is the lowest-selling country single from the Speak Now era.
