Heard this on the radio on the way to get my hair done today and then I heard it in the salon on their Sirius. Some of the girls working there got excited that there was a new Katy Perry song on the radio.
However - one girl working there was the lucky person selected for the Birthday performance at my tour stop and when it came on she did not even acknowledge it. I was disappointed.

i can't because TOTGA is literally my 2nd fave track from TD right under Part of Me (but its really close). the original version slays so hard as pop perfection with the beat the acoustic just won't work for me.

I still wish that "E.T." was released as an official single without Kanye first, like "Last Friday Night" and "The One That Got Away" (and not just as a promo single)... the original album version is so so SO much better, I'm not really a fan of Kanye at all... but I wouldn't mind too much if they just added his verse at the beginning, but they also removed the CELESTIAL bridge for the radio edit and replaced it with more Kanye. At least the video version still had Katy's bridge... but still...
I'm so happy that this song is now in the Top 100! iTunes smash hit!
