Instead of asking who they are/being shady, you should try this thing called Google and listen to their music. Music that has fans involved to this day, nearly ten years from when they were formed. two breakups and all. Music from two #1 albums, something half of these groups can never get nowadays.
I'm not from the US and I know them/been a fan from the beginning, importing their CD's for like €30/$40, so even though they're local, they had/have fans worldwide. Not that I even get why anyone is questioning them. DK, still threatening the lessors, even during a breakup
