Well obviously, it's pop music and a boy-band at that. Personality still counts though (Niall for example tends to attract people, myself included, first of all thanks to his personality).
I didn't jump on the 'hate wagon'. When he had the feud with Tyler Oakley and was accused of being homophobic, I defended him because it was obviously completely stupid. However, since then, he has just gotten too whiny and his looks can no longer make up for that unlike Zayn who has little personality (or doesn't show it) but at least still has his looks.
Also, no need to resort to ad hominem attacks.
