How many of those are in NYC though? I think these parties are for people who work for radio stations based in NYC. So they can easily pop into Taylor's place in Manhattan for an hour or two.
Edit: Actually scratch that. Some of these radio stations are based outside NYC. One was in San Diego and one from Dallas. Another from San Francisco and another from LA.
Taylor will likely host the Country Radio Stations in Nashville when she promotes the album there. That is what she did when promoting Red.
Maybe these parties are just to get to know these DJs. Taylor already knows and is friendly with most of the major Country Music Radio DJs. She always sends them gifts for the Country Radio Seminar
