Y'all are being so basic when it comes to clue #2.
I bet it hints at the thematic content of the lead hymn. Home/photos/New York. It's giving me a "Holy Ground" tea. Except radio-friendly and less wordy.

Exactly! I don't think all the clues are about the time of the announcement. Maybe 5:00 is mentionned in the song? Who knows.
The answer to Taylor Swift‘s mysterious clues is here and we have to say it is not exactly what we were expecting!
The 24-year-old country singer is going to be hosting a live Q&A with Yahoo on August 18 at 4pm ET / 1pm PT where she will take questions from fans live from a top secret location.
A page on Yahoo’s website went live this afternoon, but was quickly taken down. Of course fans were quick to find it though and spread the news.
We were totally hoping the clues would be referring to new music, so we can only hope that Taylor will play a new song or maybe announce her new album during the Q&A. Perhaps the “5″ clue refers to her fifth album?!

Bye it's obviously gonna be about LP5. How could they think otherwise?
I bet they're using Yahoo because the whole thing will be paid for by them. Yahoo has really been trying to turn their concert streaming into a thing, and Taylor would be one of the best artists they could ever get to properly raise awareness for it.
Didn't Scotty get basically all of the promo for Red paid for by everyone other than Big Machine? He's an ass most of the time, but you can't deny his business prowess.
I know it has been posted earlier but this pic from the Met Ball has Taylor with Marissa Mayer who is CEO of Yahoo. Ivanka Trump is in the middle.
I had to google all that! Sorry Yahoo.
Although Yahoo do own tumblr, so all you guys slating them should maybe take note before updating your tumblr accounts or checking tswiftdaily!
Also check this article out. This guy has exchanged tweets with me in the past, cos he has previously written about Taylor and compared her to Bruce Springsteen.
I forgot Yahoo owned tumblr... Maybe that will tie in somehow? She does have that tumblr account that hasn't been used for anything but sharing Her instagram posts...
lol taylor probably used yahoo as they released something exclusively for the giver
The reason to use yahoo is that it has a huge infrastructure and owns a lot of content now.
they are most likely doing this promotional event for free for her, possibly even paying production costs....they want people to be aware of Yahoo Screen, which already has a lot of better longform content than youtube.

Maybe they'll promote it on tumblr? Turn every icon into a swift icon. Like that April Fools joke with the top hats.

Yahoo are clearly putting a lot of effort into streaming music videos/concerts as source of income for them going forward. This Q&A session with Taylor is just part of this initiative.
