It is far more impressive than anything Beyonce have done, and most people think Britney's videos are far better than Beyonce's and more iconic than hers, how is she more deserving?

You Britney stans shouldn't pay any attention to them. They are always like that, one Hive makes a "drag" then only the members of the Hive laugh and "omg!!1 slay!!1" at that. It's not funny, it's embarrassing. They keep showing the reason why no one likes the Hive on here.
Beyonce deserves to be congratulated, and every other stanbase did that, except the Hive, who are mindlessly attacking everyone for no reason. Sad.

The OP is certainly giving some shade, but do you realize how much of a fuss you guys are making because name is not bolded? Do you really think this is warranted? I don't condone any of the hateful comments about Britney, and I know it sucks to hear that stuff about your have (because similar stuff is coming at Bey here too), but you're doing yourself and your fellow stans no favours by continuing it (this goes for the BeyHive too. Show the maturity I know you have).
Also on the bright side, bolding everyone but Britney in fact makes her stand out more, so rejoice!

This thread is a mess  Army, there is no need to waste your time in here. The dumb, petty shade in the OP doesn't take away the fact that Britney essentially revived this award and was the first star of her generation to receive it, nor does it detract from her iconic videography. There's no need to be dragging.

You're allowed to hold that opinion if you'd like, but that doesn't mean anything.
When your most iconic songs were released more than a decade ago and you haven't been able to top yourself, there's really nothing to brag about. The Video Vanguard Award transcends videos, and Beyoncé does have iconic videos as a prerequisite to receive the award.
Let's not even get into how I feel it should be Britney's team that was honored more than Britney herself. The past recipients of the award actually were directly involved in their careers to justify their wins.
