High budget =/= quality. There are million-dollar videos that were shelved because they were awful.

Bottom line, Beyonce has 14 VMAs, spread throughout her entire career, so that would justify a Video Vanguard Award, in my opinion. And I've always thought it was odd to give a person a special achievement award, yet repeatedly shut them out of regular categories…
