I think that radio station was just hyping their contest tbh, by saying "hear it first at the artRAVE .... by winning our tickets!" I doubt they'd lie about getting word about a new single though. I just think it being something new, from Act II, is reaching.
But I don't think a new single from ARTPOP is out of the realm of possibility.
I don't know anything about Act II unfortunately, but it doesn't feel like the ARTPOP era is over to me. I think something is coming.

Imagine waking up August 27th (is that when the app countdown ends? I haven't really payed attention to the countdown since June tbh.) to Partynauseous, Onion Girl, Nothing On (But The Radio), Ratchet, Temple, Tinnitus, In Like With You, Tea, Sire, etc.
I don't want to get myself hyped, and we all say how sure we are that something's coming like we said in June for Freak Like Me... But everything seems to fall into place.
I don't think anything is happening this month. If the app countdown ends, which I doubt, it's going to be for C2C and Partynauseous. Otherwise, I don't think we're getting any real new music until December if we are lucky and she feels like it.

Sis, just let us have this. Speculation in this thread is better than ARTPOP negativity, of which I am guilty, I'll admit. Just give us the hype and meltdowns come end of August/early September, then let we'll have C2C to calm the thirst.

I think what is happening with app is that nobody in the Haus knows what to do with it and they aren't taking it seriously, just look at how they keep pushing the deadline for the project and also have stopped talking about it. Gaga doesn't seem to be interested in the app anymore. If the app is finally updated, it will be recording sessions of ARTPOP/C2C and some "listen to this hidden vocal on Aura!" stuff.

It's not that the Haus isn't taking it seriously, it's just that right now is not a good time. Labels don't want their major artists releasing music unless there is a way for them to benefit from it. Releasing on the app right now would go largely unnoticed and would be a waste of time and money. The app's been tested and is ready, but unless Gaga goes behind her label's back, I don't think anything's gonna happen any time soon.
IMO, the ACT I and ACT II should've been released at the same time, with ACT II on the APP. ACT II was doomed the moment the media decided to attack Gaga.
