I think she's just getting INSPIRED by classic rock and power ballads,
the same way she was inspired by glam rock on The Fame, industrial
beats on TFM etc. She's always gonna do pop, she loves it.
I just wanted Gaga to make fun pop music just for the sake of having fun again... no deep meanings behind or any of that scrap, and no talking about her stuff to create hype and expectations. Just lay low, create a freaking great pop record and have fun. No need to move directions every albums... just stick to your pop dominance.

BN is a power ballad. TEOG has that little epic rock element to it.

Artpop wasn't great by any means but that is essentially what it was. I wouldn't want to return back to that either.
Why do you care about "floppage?" What the hell? Isn't all that matters is that she makes good music? You make no sense.
I'll stan for it if the music is good, don't get me wrong. However I was replying to someone who was commenting on gays' tendencies to believe only pop music enables an artist to have success.
Its a sad day for her fans though, I know that most of them liked her for her pop sound , now the remaining few will jump ship ....if there's even still a ship
