It doesn't matter who's more acclaimed by dumb ass reviewers on sites like Pitchfork, Tiny Mix Tapes or AllMusic. It doesn't matter who's more acclaimed by dumb ass reviewers in magazines like Uncut, Rolling Stone or NME. All of those reviewers like stuff (mostly gay ass dad-rock or 90s alt. bands) you guys have heard of, but don't like or listen to anyway so why do you trust their opinion in the first place? Cause their taste contains trve music?
Anyone with some depth in their taste (and personality) just knows they can't be the best in what they do. Basically what 95% of people on this site are saying is that _insert pop girl name_ is the best artist ever. You know how ridiculous that sounds? Keep your ignorant ass down and get ****ed by a hitting power top while you're at it.

Just because a lot of the reviewers at senior publications grew up in and have been reviewing since the golden age of rock doesn't mean that they don't enjoy other genres and have a lot of insight to bring into contemporary music. They generally review music from a wide variety of genres and find pieces to enjoy in them.
The exception is NME!! No publication that overrates Oasis and Arctic Monkeys to that extent can be trusted!
