When I watch Nashville I sometimes think of Katy Perry. When Hayden Panitierre (sp?) tells the head of her label that she’s tired of repeating herself with music for teenagers and wants to make real, raw, dark music about her life…and he says “who do you think buys your songs on iTunes? Teenage girls. Who do you think buys tickets to your shows? Teenage girls. Who do you think made you famous? Teenage girls.”
