I honestly found Bridesmaids wonderful if a bit depressing. Kristen Wiig had the worst friends ever in that movie (I never would have forgiven Maya Rudolph, huge bitch), they constantly treated her like **** and she kinda goes a little crazy until they all make up.

The movie is basically about depression and how Annie keeps finding new ways to hit rock bottom, not because of anyone else but her own actions. The ending is totally earned too. ugh, love this movie and Kristen Wiig's performance so much.

It just made me really sad until the ending.

Love Wiig in it though! Much better (and more deserving of a nomination) than McCarthy!

As if Kristen Wiig and Mya Rudolph have the acting chops to "flesh out" any character they portray. Let's not be ridiculous. They're funny, but they aren't actors. Seth Rogan can. Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann can. Steve Carell? Ify. Even Amy Schumer has more believable acting talent than Kristen Wiig and Mya Rudolph. "Trainwreck" should be interesting. Stay tuned.

But it didn’t feel like Maya Rudoph deliberately backstabbed Kristen Wiig. She got “seduced” by Rose Byrne’s fancy world and who could blame her? Even though it’s an outrageous and over the top comedy the character dynamics felt real and true to life. The laughs were built around something real.
