Back before when Flash was a thing, Youtube embedded videos was always an issue depending on browser compatibility. But now, with HTML5/CSS3, embedded videos has universal support, so I do think we will be seeing more video usage. There's actually a new format that is similar to a gif but has better quality graphics and LESS size, I have to look it up because I was kind of impressed.
