I mean, who else would they project their own insecurities onto than the woman who has fought for them for the past six years?
Did some of you skip science class in high school? All bodies are different and there are literally dozens of things that can affect someone's weight. Being on tour doesn't mean anything and not all bodies react the same to physical movement. With females in particular, their hormones play a huge role in how their body distributes weight and gains weight, especially if they're on birth control, which Gaga probably is.
For Gaga in particular, she's only five-foot-one, meaning a gain of something as simple as 15lbs can look twice as much simply because she doesn't have enough body to distribute the weight differently.
Gaga is on stage every night in practically nothing, meaning she is happy and confident with her body. Her confidence shouldn't bother you, nor should her weight. Work on your own insecurities so you don't feel the need to lash out onto other people.
First of all Gaga has not been fighting for me for the past six years. And second, I dont have insecurities. If I had, I would be the last person talkig about wight gain. But I dont. So your statement is invalid dear little radio artpoper
Giving me how can you critic music if you are not a musician teas

Nope, my statement is very much valid. No one who is secure with themselves feels the need to bring up things such as someone's weight. I mean, it's just common sense.
I don't expect people not to notice the weight gain, but I do expect people to have some sympathy and not act like it's the end of the world.
And I went to school for dietetics/nutrition, so I know how the human body works. I am very well-equipped to be talking about this issue.

Lol, you have to be blind not to see that she gained weight. So I must be fat to say that she gained weight? BYE
As a fellow woman I find it personally disgusting how you'd just randomly say she's becomming fat or her **** are saggy. Like...who are you? Literally who are you to call out flaws on someone as if you're some kind example of a perfect human being. Seriously gtfo with that body shaming.

Do you struggle with reading?
The problem is not that you talk about her gaining weight, it's that you put so much focus on her body as if her weight gain is a bad thing. That is not something someone who is secure with themselves does. I'd also say not something someone who is educated on the human body does either, because weight gain or not, she is clearly healthy if she is able to perform almost nightly for two hours.

This is what I meant by my statement. You explained it perfectly. No one has the right to criticize someone's weight or any of their flaws like that. That's one of the few things that really piss me off

So now you have to be perfect to point out the fact that she gained weight and that you don't like it? What kind of logic?
No one is saying that she should die or suffer because she's become thick, they're just pointing out the fact that she's OBVIOUSLY gained some weight and they're sharing their personal opinion on the image she's outputting.
For example I think that slim Gaga (NOT skinny Gaga) looks about 10 years younger and much more fierce, and I believe that she should take care of her body a bit better just so she can dance a bit better because her dancing skills have kinda been subpar since after Judas, which is when she started gaining weight.
If you don't like people judging her weight just ignore it. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, and a popstar is just gonna have to be judged for her vocals, her dancing, her music and her image. Like it or not.

Preach! I actually like Gaga more for being proud of her body and showing it off. Like you go, girl. It's HER body, HER belly, HER ****, and people need to STFU and look at themselves.

I am not saying that you need to be slim to point it out it was a mere reference to `he without sin shall cast the first stone´.
But more to the fact that you think you NEED to point something out on the first place.
You think she doesn't have a mirror? Everyone knows that critic on a persons body, famous or not is not just something you do. Maybe you do but I've been brought up better then that. It is not up to me to what she thinks fits her best, her body, she needs to deal with it OR NOT, which is also perfectly fine. Seriously with fans like that who needs enemies?
End of the day, it's her body and if she feels confident enough to run around in a seashell bikini - more power to her. Lambasting her body weight based on photos that have specifically been picked with the purpose of making her looking chubby doesn't make you any less of a c*nt, regardless of whether you believe you're entitled to an opinion.

But like, we know she gained so what is the point in bringing up? People only bring it up to be malicious about it and to taunt her.
The bolded part is the problem. What you think and what you want doesn't matter when it comes to someone else's body and happiness. You can try to justify your opinions with "well, I think she dances better when she's skinny" all you want, but you are wrong. Gaga has never been a good dancer. There are times when she does better than usual, but those times are few and far between. She dances non-stop at the artRAVE sans the piano sections and her weight isn't going to affect her ability to dance because she can't dance to begin with.
There are so many things we can criticize her for, her weight isn't one of them. And I guess that's the last thing I'll say about it. If you want to talk about it, go to SYG where you'll find plenty of people to talk about her weight with.
