I mean, if you're above the age of 15, hearing Right Here (Departed) isn't totally foreign. It was the 2nd Brandy song I had heard after the one she sang on Cinderella. I was familiar with TBIM too but I didn't give it a proper listen until after I was obsessed with Right Here
On December 30th (hihihi my birthday), 2006 (or 7...) Brandy was in a fatal car crush when she rear ended the person in front of her which killed the driver. It was an accident that Brandy still hasn't really gotten over or forgiven herself for which people make a joke about.
It's kind of a funny joke, not gonna lie, but I feel so damn bad for her. She's got so many corny ass people that reply to EVERY one of her tweets/IG pics commenting about the accident. It's sad.

I don't know why ppl find it funny though. And every tweet someone mentions it, like she actually set out to kill someone that morning. It was an accident.
