If you like you can hear Seulgi on Henry's song Butterfly. She's a good singer. Based on what we've heard I think Joy is around Amber level and Irene is around Sulli level, I'm just interested to hear how they sound totally live.
I'm predicting they'll be quite good because all of SM's groups that aren't meant to parallel another group have been good. DBSK, SNSD (though I guess they were originally female SuJu but they didn't really turn out that way so) were good for a while, SHINee have always been great, The Grace were great live, they were just flops. So logically Red Velvet will slay.
I will check out that Henry song thanks. Wendy is the main and Seulgi is the lead, so I guess those two will be the best.
Hardly any information is released about Joy, she wasn't even revealed when the other 3 were confirmed to be in the group. Irene is quite good at rap based on Happiness though.

Them putting a rainbow where the "towers" were. Shady, but cute

Sis, way to over-exaggerate it. They didn't announce depression, they just said she was "exhausted" from all the rumors. If she was genuinely mentally ill, they would have announced that, or she would have got some kind of medical help by now. It doesn't look that serious to me.
At the end of the day, it's her job to complete the activities she is required to do within her group. The fact that she just gave up because she couldn't handle the pressure is selfish, and unfair to the other members. How many lesbian rumors has Amber put up with, and how many constant comments on her "bitch" attitude has Krystal had over the years. You don't see them leaving the group over it.
They've even been out of major promotion activities for a YEAR. Sulli has had a long time to deal with her issues and keep it together for the sake of the group. Yeah I agree it's her health, but she needs to get it together because it is unfair to the other members and the fans. Red Light only had 3 weeks of promotion because of her decision. SM is at fault as well, but there's not much they can do if she doesn't want to continue promotions.
Well tbf, it sounds like depression and I wouldn't imagine SM would announce a mental illness in one of their ideals. Korea has a massive stigma about it, thus all the suicides there (sorry for the heavy discussion guys). She could be getting treatment, but it can be a continuous thing sis. It's not always something you treat once and live happily ever after.
I don't see how you can think that it's selfish. Even if you take away the depression side and it's that she was exhausted. If she was physically exhausted and collapsing everywhere, would you call her selfish for stopping promotions to rest/take a break? I really don't think you would. So why is her being mentally exhausted any different?
Yes, they all have pressure but some people can handle it better than others, like anything in life. Besides, I don't know why, but Sulli seems to get a lot of f(x)'s hate for some reason. This scandal has only proven that. SM could have done more. They could have continued promoting them as a four piece for the what, 2 weeks that were left of promotions? It would have been in the best interest of the girls who were willing and able to perform, the fans and Sulli not getting hate, but it seems like they had Red Velvet ready, so they pushed f(x) aside as the song wasn't performing that welll and fast tracked their debut to (potentially) get some coins

Agree with you here. But I guess we should have learned by now not to expect anything from SM. They are so messy these days.
GG's first japanese album is by far their best work tbh. I'm trying to get more into their catalogue rn. I have a hard time bopping to them on repeat like I do with f(x) or 2ne1, their legacy is flawless nonetheless. Their japanese albums are slaying as a whole package while their Korean releases are more focused on the lead singles. Not that their Korean releases are bad or something but yeah..
