My local radio station got to be one of the biggest trolls ever.. When G.U.Y. became an single
they started playing Venus instead. I was like this everytime it came on.
They also played This Is How We Do when Birthday was an single
This remix
Why am i so slayed about this era tbh
The potential of ARTPOP had
When they played this at the end of my artRAVE, as I was leaving the floor, I saw these two girls in the seating section going absolutely crazy to this and it was just such an awesome thing to see. It sounds stupid, but I just got all sorts of feelings seeing that for whatever reason.
Oh God I'm literally about to cry, I miss the artRAVE so much.
The last wig of the Born This Way Ball Tour. I wonder if she was planning on using it for the (then) lead single for ARTPOP. It was so flawless.
Ugh she looked so good at the BTWB. Lately I don't know, she doesn't look as fresh as she used to, maybe It's just me but it's like she's aged all of a sudden or maybe it's these C2C looks that confuse me...
I was looking on Gagapedia, and performance-wise, she literally only promoted ARTPOP in the US, the UK, Japan, and Germany (and only once there, in Berlin).
The promotion was for the pits. She cancelled promotional tours in Australia, France and Germany, Pushing it in only three countries? The US promotion was strong, but still, she could have performed DWUW at the YouTube awards so it, as an official single, could have benefited from the streaming instead of Dope, dropping the remix with Christina after The Voice performance to cash in on the hype, and performed and announced G.U.Y. on Jimmy Fallon instead of ARTPOP.
Not to mention, when she was in UK promoting, she was pushing two songs that were ineligible to chart at the time due to album pre-orders. She should have gave Applause a few UK performances instead of the non-single Venus.
Oh well, lets hope proper promotion, planning and organising makes a return for her next solo era under her new management, deal with LiveNation and being in a better place professionally and personally unlike in 2013.

They better start playing Legendary Lovers Sexxx Dreams.

Gaga, ha power over our feelings
We keep dragging and criticizing her but in the end we are just SLAYED
Bad Romance had too much going for it to flop, similarly to Born This Way. I guess Paparazzi actually could have flopped since LoveGame wasn't too strong (despite it's iconic Disco Stick line) but I think they promoted it so well that it couldn't have done badly.
Aside from BR, Paparazzi's peak is one of the more embarrassing and biggest scandals of her career. Realistically, it should have been 1 but the peaks just didn't match up.
That's because it was strong in sales in August/beginning of September and strongest on radio end of September/October. It just didn't match up, which caused to peak as low as it did. Sad, because it was her biggest radio hit at that time.
Even going back prior to BTW, who would've thought any of her singles would've smashed? Telephone was the only sure-fire smash, but Bad Romance was extremely risky and easily could've flopped, but the GP latched onto it from the start. Same goes for Paparazzi, which remains one of her biggest radio hits to this day.
There really is no knowing what kind of Gaga the GP is going to go for.
Very true. The public are really hard to judge when it comes to the pop girls. Even Katy lately is feeling it. She's releasing her usual Katy styled pop tracks they would normally eat up and expect to smash (Birthday and TIHWD) yet they did / are doing nothing.
Mess at both replies involving Katheryn. Sorry y'all.

I only criticize when I do because I want her to do better. (And I know she can.) When you love someone, it's natural that you'd want to see them at their best. You want the world to see why you love this person so much. I've honestly lost track of why I love Gaga so much. I used to be able to list reasons (she can sing, she writes her own music, she actually cares, etc.), but at this point, while those things are still true, I've lost any specific reason to love her. I just do, and for me, that's all that matters. She's one of the most important people in my life, so to see her suffer and get dragged by others really does hurt. Even if she says she doesn't care, I know deep down, it does hurt to an extent to get mocked and dragged by so many people that you don't even know, some of which aren't even real people. (Angela Chang, anyone?)
So, am I a bit critical about logistical things sometimes? Yes, I'll admit that. And I'm sorry for anyone who may see me as an ex-fan in the making because of this. But no, I'm not leaving anytime soon, and I only do it because I want Gaga to succeed, just I like I want to see anyone else I love do good in life. In the end though, I still love her and her music, so I guess it really is about music, not the bling.
Why I just wrote all that, I will never know. I guess these emotions from this post-artRAVE depression are really doing a number on me. I mean, I was even talking about 15 singles from ARTPOP the other night.
