She isn't comparing herself to Jay-Z. Did she call herself the female Jay-Z? No, she is simply paying homage.

And Nicki is an album seller. Maybe not like the pop girls, but compared to fellow rappers? Hell yes.

Nicki, Drake, and Kendrick are the only solo rappers (Macklrmorr is a part of a group) to debut in the 2010s and to sell one million copies of an album in the US. And she did it almost twice considering how close RR is.
